It's very frustrating as I should get to use LR on at least 2 devices. I have now entered this and unfortunately it will not accept my serial number. This is written on the back of the CD version. Having installed the latest Adobe Application Manager I tried to launch Lightroom 5 again and this time it asked my to enter my licensing key. When I tried to open Lightroom this time, I was greeted with another message to say that my Adobe Application Manager was out of date or missing and it suggested I downloaded and installed this. I then copied the SLRstore folder across to my new Mac Book Pro to see if this helped. I therefore had a look for this on my old Mac book and found the folder straight away. I followed the link you sent me and could see that the SLRStore folder was missing in my library on my new Mac Book Pro. I think this could be the start of the problems with the licensing issues. When I got my new Mac Book Pro it didn't have a CD drive so I had to copy LR5 onto a USB key and install the software on my new Mac Book from the USB. Originally the software was installed onto my old Mac Book Pro using the Adobe LR5 installation CD disc. Unfortunately I am still having a lot of trouble getting this all sorted.

Thank you for this link Axel, much appreciated. Therefore, are the updates I downloaded not compatible with the format of LR 5 that I originally installed.Īny help with this would be greatly appreciated as I am currently having a little meltdown. I wondered if this has happened because everything is now part of the Adobe creative cloud, where as I'm running the old version that was installed via a disc and I didn't have a creative cloud account. I was in the middle of editing a wedding so really need to find a solution to this ASAP. (I thought this might help with the problems I was having) Since updating my LR5 I now can't open it at all and I'm greeted with an error message box containing the error code 213:10 (Screen shot attached below)

This afternoon I opened LR 5 which suggested I download and install the latest updates for this software, so I followed the link to the download and continued to install. The new Mac Book Pro is therefore my second installation and second device.Īfter installing this onto my new Mac Book the software was working okay but I was experiencing a few glitches when I cropped certain images. My understanding is that you get two uses of the serial code so you can install the software onto two devices. I got LR5 when I purchased my Canon camera a few years ago so it was on a disc that I had to install it from. I recently purchased a new Mac Book Pro and installed Lightroom 5 onto it.
